CONSULTATIVE FORUM ON TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS ACT (R.A 11862)

"Unity is Strength when there is Teamwork and Collaboration, Wonderful things can be Achieved." -Mattie Stepanek

A fruitful Consultative Forum on Trafficking-in-persons Act (R.A 11862) was held on February 29, 2024, with the participation of NGOs, government organizations, possible champions from the Sangguniang Panglungsod, and partners from the commercial and private sectors.

In collaboration with the Integrated Gender and Development Division (IGDD) and the Department of Tourism (City and Region), the team implemented the main goal of gathering all stakeholders from government agencies (CLGU's & BLGU's) and private and business sectors in an event (round table discussions) that bears accountability and plays a significant role in supporting, suppressing, or even decreasing the number of victims of trafficking-in-persons and online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) through strengthening their reporting mechanisms.
