Trauma-Informed Care Training with the members of Barangay Committees Against Trafficking - Violence Against Women and Children (BCAT-VAWC) and Registered Social Workers from CSWDO.

Another batch of Trauma-Informed Care Training with the members of Barangay Committees Against Trafficking - Violence Against Women and Children (BCAT-VAWC) and Registered Social Workers from CSWDO was held last February 27-29, 2024 at Panorama Summit Hotel, Tigatto Rd, Buhangin, Davao City. 

The Counter Trafficking-in-persons (CTIP) Project conducted the 2nd batch of Trauma-Informed Care Training among the Barangay Committees Against Trafficking - Violence Against Women and Children (BCAT-VAWC) members and 7 registered barangay Social Workers from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) in providing trauma-informed care and gender-sensitive case management. The BCAT-VAWC and Registered Social Workers gained knowledge and skills to provide trauma-informed care, recognize signs of trauma, respond to trauma-impacted behaviors of clients, and implement self-care strategies.
